They will match your contribution, dollar-for-dollar.

Plastic bottles from Coca-Cola and other corporations are flowing into our oceans at an alarming rate. These plastics don't biodegrade; they simply break down into tiny particles. The plastic particles poison plankton, fish, and everything above them on the food chain, including us.

This is just one of the many wrongs that Greenpeace is trying to right. Fighting climate change even as we struggle against its effects, battling Trump and the fossil-fuel lackeys in Congress, protecting marine animals and the environments they live in … There is so much that needs to be done.

Fortunately, a group of committed supporters has made an extraordinary offer. Any contribution you make to Greenpeace now could be matched dollar for dollar until December 31.

Remember, we do not accept any money from corporations or governments. We are completely reliant on people like you.

Kathleen, what is the most generous donation you can afford to make right now? Think of that amount, and then imagine that it could magically double. That's what's going to happen – and it won't cost you a cent more!

Please make that gift now, when it will have twice the clout, when it will go twice as far toward thwarting oil company executives and the politicians who do their bidding, when it will do twice as much to keep our oceans clean, safe, and plastic-free, and protect our environment.

Thank you for demonstrating how much you care.

Sincerely,

Kate Melges
Plastics Campaigner, Greenpeace USA

P.S. Nothing lasts forever, and the opportunity to double your gift expires at the end of the month. So please make that donation now, while you're thinking of it.

Greenpeace never takes a dime from corporations or governments. Everything we do is thanks to the generous support of people like you!
