Take on Coca-Cola AND the oil industry in just 60 seconds

Kathleen-

Fight two corporate behemoths at once and support all of Greenpeace's campaigns!

Just a quick reminder that the offer to match your contribution expires tomorrow. There's still some of the $167,000 matching gift fund remaining, so don't miss your opportunity to double the impact of your gift!

You've received emails describing how we're pressuring Coca-Cola to change its global plastics policy. I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but taking out single-use plastics will also help our movement push back against the oil and gas industry, which is counting on increased plastic production to justify more pipelines, fracking and drilling.

As the world transitions away from burning fossil fuels, the oil industry sees the increased use of plastics — a petroleum product — as a potential life line and one desperate excuse to lock in new infrastructure. By demanding that companies stop using plastic packaging, we can reduce the power of the oil industry and help move our country towards 100% renewable energy.

Please help us use every dollar in the $167,000 matching gift fund and reach our $3.25 million end-of-year goal.

For the oceans and the planet,

Kate Melges
Plastics Campaigner, Greenpeace USA

P.S. Your gift and the funds that match it will do much more than help end corporate reliance on single-use plastics. They will support everything we do to protect our oceans from mega-rich CEOs and their political lackeys.

Greenpeace never takes a dime from corporations or governments. Everything we do is thanks to the generous support of people like you!
