We must demand a STRONG global oceans treaty

Our oceans are counting on us. They're in trouble, and if something doesn't change soon, so are we.

Kathleen, Oceans are critical for all life on Earth. They provide food and livelihoods for billions of people worldwide. They support some of the most spectacular arrays of biodiversity. And they're our very best ally in solving the climate crisis. But our oceans are in trouble, and if something doesn't change soon, so are we. That's why I'm working with Greenpeace USA to pressure international leaders to enact real change — but big corporate interests with deep pockets are doing everything they can to drown us out.  We're up against some powerful forces — but we absolutely will not back down. It’s World Whale Day! And we’re fighting for our ocean’s BIGGEST heroes

But every day, they're facing new and evolving threats like plastic pollution, habitat destruction, ship strikes, and ocean noise — all of which pose a MAJOR RISK to remaining whale populations.
