| Dear Katy, Yesterday, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford bravely delivered heart-wrenching and deeply credible testimony, confirming that Brett Kavanaugh is a sexual predator. Kavanaugh followed Blasey Ford with unhinged, partisan, entitled testimony that proved yet again that he is deeply unqualified to serve on the Supreme Court. And Republicans did what they've been doing for weeks – undermined survivors, painted Kavanaugh as a victim and promised to do everything they can to confirm him. They are voting this morning to send his nomination to the Senate floor.1 Now we must show up for Dr. Blasey Ford, Deborah Ramirez, Julie Swetnick and every survivor and do everything we can to stop Kavanaugh from being confirmed. Bring signs, handwritten letters, pictures or photos of the people you're fighting for, and make clear to senators that they have a responsibility to believe survivors and stop Kavanaugh. We're working with our friends at MoveOn, UltraViolet, National Domestic Worker's Alliance, Indivisible and Planned Parenthood to call for these gatherings with very short notice – but we know that CREDO members will show up because we all stand with survivors and know what's at stake if Kavanaugh is confirmed. In the last few weeks, CREDO members have submitted more than 400,000 petition signatures to the Senate opposing Kavanaugh and made thousands of phone calls demanding senators block his confirmation.
