I knew it was coming, but when Trump announced yesterday that he was withdrawing the US from the Paris Climate Agreement, I felt sick.

Not only is Trump acting against the wishes of the majority of Americans who want climate action — specifically to stay with 194 other nations in the landmark Paris Climate Agreement1 — it's clear that he is willing to do everything in his power to roll back any environmental progress we've made. His actions show how far he'll go to provide his fossil fuel industry cronies with more opportunities for drilling and fracking. This means more dangerous spills, more polluted air and water, and a greater risk for a climate catastrophe we can't turn back from.

What Trump doesn't realize is that we will move forward on climate action with or without him. That's why we're launching the Summer of Resistance — an unprecedented wave of people-powered action all across the country to resist Trump's dangerous anti-climate agenda. And YOU can be part of it.

Can you give an emergency gift right now to help fund a Summer of Resistance that Trump can't ignore and support all of Greenpeace's critical campaigns for the environment?

It's only been hours since Trump's display of ignorance and disgrace, but we, the people, aren't letting that get us down. Thousands of you have called or messaged out to your senators and representatives. Mayors, governors, and universities across the country have pledged to push climate progress forward despite Trump's anti-climate agenda. And people across the world took to the streets yesterday to voice their anger and frustration.

Even corporations are taking a stand against Trump's misguided action. Over 20,000 Greenpeace supporters like you have called on Disney CEO Bob Iger to leave Trump's advisory council — and yesterday he listened! Iger resigned as a "matter of principle" against Trump's dangerous anti-climate actions.3

Our momentum is unstoppable. But we must keep the pressure on to resist Trump's dangerous agenda like never before. Are you with us?

Help us launch a wave of creative, non-violent action across the country during the Summer of Resistance and support all our work to protect our climate, communities, and planet!

This will be a summer to remember. I hope you'll be part of it.

Keep resisting,

P.S. It's imperative to keep momentum going and continuously show Trump that we will not back down from his dangerous agenda. Will you help us make this summer a turning point for the resistance and for people power across the country? Donate to Greenpeace today.
