Get ready for the first primary debate with us

The next President of the United States must take bolder, faster climate action than any leader has before. But the media still isn't giving this crisis the attention it deserves, giving cover to candidates who still haven't created real plans to get us a Green New Deal and end the age of oil for good.

We need to put the climate crisis center stage by having tens of thousands of people speak up in their communities and on social media. Want to join the Greenpeace's virtual takeover of the first Democratic primary debate and shine a spotlight on climate this election?

Mark your calendar on June 26 and 27 — the first 2020 presidential debates — and sign up to host a debate watch party.

The first Democratic primary debate is a big deal for climate change. What happens on the debate stage in Miami — and our reaction to it — will set the tone for the rest of the primary season. No matter what the candidates say on climate — they need to know we're watching, and that we have high expectations.

We have everything prepped and ready to help you host a great climate debate watch party and will be here to support you every step of the way.

If thousands of people like you join Greenpeace's virtual takeover of the debate in your communities and online, it will guarantee that no matter what happens during the debate, our voices will be heard loud and clear. Just imagine, if every debate watch party across the country invited their closest friends and family to join, there'd be so many new people jumping into the biggest issue of our time!

The only way to make enough noise to impact the 2020 candidates starts with you during the first Democratic primary debate.

Host a debate watch party now and bring your friends and family together over one of the most important issues of our time.

Let's keep going,

Adrienne Lowry
National Mobilization Organizer

P.S. This past Tuesday, on the campaign trail in Iowa, a Greenpeace activist asked Joe Biden if he supported a climate debate, and he said he was "all in." The very next day, Greenpeace, along with 20 other organizations, delivered more than 200,000 petitions to the DNC demanding they hold a debate focused on the climate crisis. Now is not the time to slow down. We need to keep the pressure up because it's working. Host a debate watch party now and bring your friends and family together over one of the most important issues of our time.

Greenpeace never takes a dime from corporations or governments. Everything we do is thanks to the generous support of people like you!
