Dear Katy,

Stop Trump's war with Iran

"Planes were in the air and ships were in position."1

Trump was 10 minutes away from attacking Iran last night.

A war with Iran would be devastating – likely on a larger scale than even the war in Iraq.2 We must pull out all the stops to stop Trump, Bolton and Pompeo from dragging us into yet another catastrophic war – and you can help.

Will you take a couple of minutes now to call Rep. Diana DeGette and Sens. Michael Bennet and Cory Gardner and tell them to do all they can to block war with Iran? Click here to get started.

Trump and his war hawk advisers are ripping a page straight out of the Iraq War playbook: Cut off diplomatic options. Make a government look 100% evil. Open the floodgates to war. With each step, they are bringing us closer to the brink. Unless we act quickly, we could find ourselves in another tragic, destructive and immoral conflict.

Congress has the constitutional authority to make – and stop – war, but they mainly fail to use it. Those failures only get worse at moments of heightened tension. Before things get out of control, every member of Congress needs to hear that their constituents expect them to stop war with Iran.

Call Rep. DeGette and Sens. Bennet and Gardner now and demand they do everything possible to prevent a horrific war from happening. Click the link below to start your calls:
