But in reality, the company is fighting a standard that would keep 6 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions out of our air.1 To protect clean air and the climate, we need your help. Tell Ford to stop fighting strong fuel standards and protect our air! Ford has promised to build Electric Vehicle models and put more bike shares on the road. At the same time, the company is fighting against strong fuel efficiency standards for cars and trucks, which would seriously reduce pollution levels in our cities.2 Two weeks ago, Ford was accused of installing a technology on more than 500,000 of its gas-guzzling trucks to help them cheat on federal emissions requirements.3 The transportation sector is now responsible for the majority of greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S. Our climate can't wait: we need cleaner cars on the road now! Demand that Ford put cleaner cars on the road. At Greenpeace, we're fighting to end the age of oil, whether its pipeline construction, our addiction to single-use plastics, or polluting cars.
