Kathleen- We've had some really important days recently, Earth Day and Giving Tuesday Now. Both were days about healing the earth and our futures. Even if you haven't had a chance to donate yet, I want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being part of our global Greenpeace community. That's why Greenpeace staff from around the world put together this video. I hope you will give it a watch.  When I watched it I could feel I'm part of something that's so much bigger than myself. As a global community, what we do in the US has implications worldwide. So here in the US, we're leveling up all our work by: Investigating and exposing polluter bailouts and regulatory rollbacks during this crisis. Putting the health of people and planet first in all recovery and relief efforts. Setting a vision for the future that understands that the old ways weren't working — that there is no return to "normal," and that we can take this opportunity to move beyond the broken systems of the past. Breaking free from single-use plastics with food delivery systems based on safe and sustainable sanitation systems to support reusable to-go containers and cups. Defending our oceans and ancient forests, and all of our work for a safe and healthy planet. A group of benefactors has taken note of our movement, and they know the COVID-19 crisis has hurt our ability to raise funds. So they have offered a matching gift challenge to all of us, and we need to raise $260,000 to meet their challenge. When you donate before May 31st, your donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $260,000. We don't want to leave any money on the table, please join us.
